The Field Museum is Chicago’s natural history museum. If you (or you kids) are into dinosaurs, this is the place to go. The museum has 4.6 billion years of natural history under one roof, including SUE, the largest, most complete and best preserved T-Rex ever discovered. Founded to house the biological and anthropological collections assembled for the World's Columbian Exposition of 1893, the Museum's collections have grown through world-wide expeditions, exchange, purchase, and gifts to currently more than twenty million specimens. Don't miss the mummy collection!
