Between the Cumberland River and First Avenue in downtown Nashville sits Riverfront Park, created in the early 1980s to commemorate Nashville’s river history. In the 1780s, this area was home to Nashville's first settlers. A replica of that first settlement, called Fort Nashborough, is located near the at the south end of the park. Otherwise, this is a nice green space to relax and enjoy the river traffic. FREE.
