Navy Pier
600 E. Grand Ave.

Once back on the main level of Navy Pier, stroll east down the pier's southern promenade (called Dock Street) at your leisure, stopping next at the Navy Pier Beer Garden.

Along your stroll you'll find numerous shops, restaurants, and impromptu happenings both along Dock Street and inside Navy Pier's interior corridor.

If you have the time, take a boat ride. You’ll get a unique perspective of the city. For fun, informative Lake Michigan and Chicago River architectural cruises, Seadog Cruises and Shoreline Sightseeing are great options. Shoreline Sightseeing also offers water taxi service to Museum Campus, Michigan Avenue and Willis Tower.

If you're interested in a fun, one-of-a-kind Lake Michigan sail on a true tall ship, take a ride on Tall Ship Windy.

For lunch or dinner cruises with DJs and dancing on a larger ship, City Cruises by Hornblower is the place to go.

Given the variety of options, you may want to walk the pier before making a decision.

As you stroll along Dock Street, you'll find numerous dining options. Among them are Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville, a great place to kick-back and relax in true Jimmy Buffet style.

Another favorite is Bar Sol, featuring Latin-inspired seafood, extensive drink menu, and outstanding lakefront and skyline views.

If you're looking to experience the world's largest rooftop bar and restaurant, head to Offshore Rooftop. Located on the rooftop above the Beer Garden (our next stop), Offshore is a fantastic spot for great food, drink and incredible Lake Michigan and skyline views.

Dock Street is also the perfect place to watch Navy Pier’s FREE fireworks, generally every Wednesday and Saturday nights from Memorial Day through Labor Day, as well as on the Fourth of July and New Year's Eve.
