East Elm, Cedar & Bellevue Streets

An often overlooked part of the Gold Coast is the area situated just east of the Rush & State dining and nightlife district. On Elm, Cedar and Bellevue Streets, you'll find numerous beautiful homes. To reach this area, cross Division Street and continue walking south on State Street until you reach Rush Street.

Rush Street is the angled street which terminates at State and Cedar Streets. The small triangular park between State and Rush Streets is Mariano Park, which is a great place to relax and people watch during the warm weather months. This is also a great area to take a break at one of the numerous nearby bars and restaurants.

To the east of the State & Rush area you'll find Elm, Cedar and Bellevue Streets. Head east down any of these streets to see more of the Gold Coast at your leisure.

You've completed the Gold Coast Tour! To return to the CTA's Red Line, head back north to Division Street, then west on Division to the Clark Street subway entrance.
