Millennium Park is one of the most popular destinations in Chicago. Opening in 2004 to rave reviews, this 24.5-acre park is one of the great public spaces in Chicago. It features sculptures (including Cloud Gate, aka "The Bean"), fountains, galleries and one of the best outdoor concert venues in the nation. The park is FREE.

NOTE: It's been 17 years for "The Bean"! Unfortunately, the surrounding plaza needs some maintenance -- which means views of The Bean will be limited during construction. Work is expected to continue through Spring 2024. When completed, the plaza will have an improved appearance with enhanced accessibility.
